How it works
The Same RetURN.org ID, Set Up for a Pet
Put It on the Urn
Attach the RetURN.org ID label to the urn, or choose an urn that comes with one. Scanning its QR code opens your pet’s page.
Choose Pet
When you set up the page, choose Pet. Add your pet’s name, what kind of animal they were and your family’s name.
Record Your Wishes
Say what should happen to the cremated remains, and what to do if that’s no longer possible. You can add the pet cremation provider too.
Publish When You’re Ready
Nothing is public until you publish it.
Why it matters
A Name Alone Isn’t Enough
Pet urns get moved, inherited and sometimes left behind. Years from now, “Max” on an urn may not tell anyone whose pet he was or what your family wanted to happen to his urn. A RetURN.org ID links to a page that keeps those details with him.
